Hindi Thinking Pattern¶
When two people don't know each other, Hindi speakers often think:
- इन दोनों का परिचय करा देता हूँ।
- इन्हें मिलवाना चाहिए।
- ये भी एक-दूसरे के काम आ सकते हैं।
- शायद इनकी अच्छी बनेगी।
- दोनों एक ही क्षेत्र में हैं।
- पहले इनका परिचय करा दूँ।
- मिल लीजिए एक-दूसरे से।
- आप दोनों पहले नहीं मिले?
Core intention
Help two people become comfortable by giving enough context for them to start talking.
Natural English Expressions¶

Nuance¶
Native speakers usually provide context, not just names.
Instead of saying only:
This is Rahul.
they often add one useful detail:
This is Rahul. We worked together at Amazon.
That gives both people an easy place to continue the conversation.

Common Thinking Traps¶
❌ Meet with my friend.
✅ I'd like you to meet my friend.
Why? "Meet with" means to have a meeting. Here you're introducing people.
❌ He is my childhood friend only.
✅ He's a childhood friend of mine.
Why? Avoid adding "only" for emphasis.
❌ Both are same field.
✅ You both work in the same field.
Why? Complete the sentence naturally.
