- कपड़े धोने हैं।
- ये कपड़े गंदे हैं।
- मशीन चला दो।
- डिटर्जेंट खत्म हो गया।
- कपड़े सुखा देना।
- बारिश होने वाली है।
- कपड़े अंदर ले आओ।
- ये अभी गीले हैं।
- कपड़े तह कर दो।
- अलमारी में रख दो।
- ये शर्ट प्रेस करनी है।
- ये सफेद कपड़ों के साथ मत धोना।
Core intention

Nuance¶
English usually treats laundry as an activity rather than individual clothes.
Native speakers commonly say:

- I have a load of laundry.
- The laundry is done.
They rarely translate the Hindi thought word for word as "I'm washing clothes."

Common Mistakes by Hindi Speakers¶
❌ Wash the clothes machine.
✅ Start the washing machine.
Why? The machine is started, not washed.
❌ Clothes are wet only.
✅ The clothes are still wet.
Why? "Still" is the natural choice. Avoid using "only" for emphasis.
❌ Dry the clothes in sun.
✅ Hang the clothes out to dry.
Why? English focuses on the action rather than the location.
